Jackfruit Cutlet
Ingredients
- Raw jackfruit - 3 cups
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Ginger - 1tsp
- Garlic - 1tsp
- Onion - 1 1 /2 cup ( Finely chopped )
- Green Chilly. - 2
- Coriander leaves - 1 pinch
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder -1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder -1 tsp
- Oil - 2tbsp
- Corn flour or Rice flour - 3tbsp
- Required Salt as per taste
Method
To make jackfruit cutlets or Tikka , first heat two spoons of oil in a pan . when the oil is hot , add cumin seeds and green chillies. when the cumin seeds crackle , add the ginger and garlic and onion to the pan and fry till it becomes golden . After frying onions , add required salt to the pan. Then add the turmeric powder, chilly powder , coriander powder, Garam masala and fry it in a low heat about 10 minutes. when the spices are roasted , then add the raw jackfruit to the pan and mix the mixture well. and cover the pan and turn off the gas..
Once the pan is cold , grind it in the mixture . Then add corn flour or rice flour in the mixture ,add little oil and mix well with hands and make small balls of it give desired shape. After heat the oil in the kadai and deep fry them . Serve it hot with tea or coffee😍😍....
